Brass Lessons

As part of ‘Music and the Deaf’ provision in Bradford, our pupils benefit from weekly music sessions where they are learning to play a variety of brass instruments. A qualified music teacher, Mr Kelly, visits every week to teach the lessons.  These are accessed by all of our deaf pupils, even the most profoundly deaf, because of the low, loud sounds which the instruments make and also because of the vibrations which accompany the sound. Pupils are making excellent progress and thoroughly enjoy the sessions.
