Good morning GEMS. Happy Friday! Have you all had a lovely week? We all hope that you have enjoyed the home learning activities this week. Next week we are going to be learning about colour so be sure to come back on Monday and see what lovely things we have for you to do.
Have fun today and have a great weekend everyone.

Mrs Ward works in Nursery. She has come to read us a story today!
Listen to the the sounds from the animals in the story - can you recognise and name each sound and animal?
Mrs Lee has been busy decorating biscuits - can you see what picture she has made? Have a go at decorating you own minibeasts biscuits.
Can you listen to the farm story and move your bodies to make the different animal shapes?

Good morning GEMS. I hope you had a lovely day in the sunshine yesterday. Did you find any ladybirds?
Try making some minibeasts from playdough. Don't forget to send us some pictures - we would love to see what you have made.

Have you been remembering to practise the 5 little ducks song? Today, see if you can make 5 little duck stick puppets and a mummy duck.
Let's go play outside!

Mrs Anderson has a minibeast story for you today! Could it be about a caterpillar? Or maybe a spider?
Or maybe a wiggly worm? Can you think of any other minibeasts that it could be?
Here is a ladybird craft activity from Mrs Ali
Let's have some outdoor fun!

Hello GEMS. Hope you're all well. Did you enjoy listening to Mrs Anderson's story all about farm animals? How many animals were you able to name? This week why don't you have a go at making your own animal mask. Don't forget to send any pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org
Here are some ideas of the different animals masks you could make.
Listen to this different version of our number rhyme this week.
If you have some rubber ducks maybe you could use them to sing the song and practise taking 1 away each time. You could do this in the bath, in the washing up bowl or even better in the garden since it is going to be a warm, sunny day!
Don't forget to practise our nursery rhyme everyday.

This week in GEMS we are going to be learning about farm animals. Do you know the names of some animals that live on the farm? Listen to Mrs Anderson's story and see how many animals you can name. Do you know what noises they all make?
