Write the date in your writing book - Friday 24th April

  Draw Thumbelina, the two fish, lily pad and the stem in the water.

Use the correct colouring pencils from your pack to colour in your picture.

Write the following labels to match the objects on the picture:

Thumbelina, fish, lily pad, water, stem.

Play time and snack time!

Here's your work for today.

First warm up with this exercise today.

Now go through the days of the week.

Do you remember the story from yesterday?

Here's a little help from Mrs Waring to remind you.

Mrs Waring has signed the story to help you understand.

Try and retell this part of the story to your family.

Now here's the second part of the story.

Some of you will be able to listen to me read the story and some of you will need to ask someone to help you read the story.  I will put the signed video of the story as soon as Mrs Waring has finished filming it.

Role play the story so far and ask your family to join in.

Count and join in with the actions on the video.

Fold a piece of paper in half and then half again.  Watch the video below.

Now cut the paper along the folds.  Do the same again with 2 more pieces of paper. How many pieces do you get after you have cut them?

Write numbers in the middle of all the pieces of paper.  What is the largest number that you have written?

Have a go at making a small bed out of paper or cereal boxes for a teddy.
