Coronavirus Information for Parents
Government Covid Guidance for Schools
On the 19th July the National COVID 19 Guidance will change for most people. However, due to the high level of outbreaks in our locality and in consultation with local public health, Bradford Council advice is that they recommend all schools in our area to continue to follow all the mitigating procedures they have used all year, right up to the end of term.
This includes, next week, week commencing 19th July, school still identifying the close contacts of any positive cases and asking them to self-isolate for 10 days.
Bradford Council are advising schools to continue with this process as cases are continuing to climb in our area and the number of schools with outbreaks is significantly high currently.
The vast majority of schools that are open next week will continue to follow Local Council advice. This is also the case in Leeds and North Yorkshire.
Reminder - School Street Scheme on Kensington Street will be suspended on Monday Tuesday & Wednesday next week due to Eid.
School is following the latest government guidance from Public Health England at all times. The full guidance can be found here - Government Guidance for Education.
School as always will be making handwashing and hygiene a priority in school.
We will continue to monitor the situation and please be alert to any changes in government guidance.
Many thanks for your support with this.
